A CLEARER WAY TO LEARN GUITAR
Structured Learning
No more jumping randomly from song to song or wondering what to work on next. Lessons follow a clear structure that helps you build the skills you need while still making time for the music you want to play.
7 Essential Guitar Skills
Develop the core skills that make you a well-rounded guitarist: Picking, Chords, Arpeggios, Scales, Rhythm, Notes & Reading and Aural. Each skill supports the others and helps you become a more confident player.
Clear Progress
You’ll always know what you’re working towards. Simple goals and regular progress points help keep your practice focused and make it easier to see how far your playing has come.
Support Between Lessons
Learning doesn’t stop when the lesson ends. If you have a question about your practice or get stuck during the week, support is available to help you keep moving forward.
frequently asked questions
Everyone progresses at a different pace, but you can start making music from your very first lessons.
During the first few weeks, we’ll focus on the foundations, building good technique, learning essential guitar skills and getting you playing riffs, chords and songs.
With regular lessons and consistent practice, most students begin to feel noticeably more confident within a few months. From there, we’ll continue building your skills step by step, with clear goals so you always know what to work on next.
Learning guitar is a long-term journey, but you don’t have to wait years before it starts being fun.
The best guitar is one that feels comfortable to play and suits the kind of music you enjoy.
If you’re drawn to rock, blues or heavier styles, an electric guitar is a great choice. If you prefer singer-songwriter, folk or acoustic music, an acoustic may be the better fit.
More important than the brand or price is finding a guitar that is comfortable, the right size for you and stays in tune.
If you’re unsure what to buy, just ask before your first lesson, we’re always happy to point you in the right direction.
All new students start with the Guitar Rocks Starter Course, £89.
The Starter Course includes four weekly 30-minute 1-to-1 guitar lessons and gives you the chance to experience Guitar Rocks, start building the essential skills and get playing straight away.
At the end of the four weeks, we’ll talk about your progress, your goals and the best option for continuing your lessons.
There’s no need to commit to ongoing lessons before completing the Starter Course.
